1. Information You Provide
Depending on how you use Chart Poppers, you may provide prompts and descriptions for chart scenes, chart titles and settings, data entered manually or uploaded through CSV or TSV files, requests submitted through the chart editor, optional contact information, and images or other files if a feature allows them to be submitted. Please do not submit passwords, financial information, medical information, confidential business information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information.
2. Information Collected Automatically
Chart Poppers and its hosting and security providers may process limited technical information, such as IP address or approximate network information, browser and device information, error and performance information, abuse-prevention information, and a random session identifier stored in a secure cookie. Chart Poppers uses a session cookie and one-way hashed identifiers to help enforce rate limits and prevent abuse. These identifiers are not used to create a user account or track you for advertising. Chart Poppers does not currently use the site to sell personal information or serve behavioral advertising.
3. How We Use Information
Chart Poppers may use submitted and automatically collected information to create, edit, review, and display charts and animations; process prompts, chart data, and uploaded files; apply automated content-safety and abuse-prevention checks; operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service; enforce the Terms of Use; respond to feedback and support requests; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Artificial Intelligence and Service Providers
Chart Poppers uses third-party providers for AI text generation, chart planning, content moderation, artwork generation, animation assistance, website hosting, database services, security verification, and abuse prevention. Information sent to these providers may include your prompt, chart data, CSV contents, generated chart settings, preview frames, or other information needed to complete your request. These providers may process information under their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and retention rules. Relevant providers may include OpenAI and Cloudflare.
5. Storage and Retention
Chart Poppers does not require users to create accounts and does not intentionally store unfinished chart drafts in its application database. Drafts generally remain in your browser session until you leave, reset, or download them. Chart Poppers may retain limited technical information, such as rate-limit counters, security records, error logs, and communications sent to us, as reasonably necessary for security, operations, legal compliance, and support. Third-party providers may retain prompts, inputs, outputs, security data, or other request information according to their own policies and applicable account or project settings.
6. Feedback and Contact Messages
The Chart Poppers feedback form prepares an email addressed to chartpoppers.admin@gmail.com. The website does not directly submit the form to a Chart Poppers database. If you choose to send the email, your email provider will transmit the message to us. We may retain the message, email address, and related correspondence as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, or comply with law.
7. Sharing of Information
Chart Poppers may disclose information to service providers that help operate, secure, host, or improve the service; when necessary to comply with law or legal process; to investigate abuse, fraud, security incidents, or violations of the Terms of Use; to protect the rights, safety, and property of Chart Poppers, users, or others; in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of assets; or with your direction or consent. Chart Poppers does not sell personal information.
8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, information about processing, a portable copy of certain information, or restriction of certain processing. To make a privacy request, contact Chart Poppers Admin at chartpoppers.admin@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and will respond as required by applicable law.
9. Children’s Privacy
Chart Poppers is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
10. Data Security
Chart Poppers uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No website, transmission, storage system, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for avoiding the submission of confidential or sensitive information that is not necessary to create your chart.
11. International Processing
Chart Poppers and its service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws different from the laws where you live.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Chart Poppers, its features, or applicable legal requirements change. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use of Chart Poppers after the revised Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated Policy.
